Thankful Thursday

Moments:
1. Kadyn has reached her giggly stage. I love to hear and see her giggle... it's the cutest thing! It almost sounds like a normal person's hiccup and she does a bunch at a time, her smile is as big as can be... really adorable.
2. I was in a rush the other night trying to get all 3 girls (well 4 including me) out the door. As I was hurrying to get Kacey's coat on, she smiled and looked into my eyes and said, "Mommy I love you."
3. The Salvation Army people stand outside of Wal-Mart ringing the bell for donations, and everytime we walk out of the store the girls give something. The lady-who probably knows us by now- lets Kylie ring the bell, and Kylie rung it and said thank you and told her to hold on so she could give it to her sister to ring also. So cute, she really always looks out for her sister. Thank goodness she'll be in school when Kacey goes to Kindergarten (I know, long time off) because it gives me peace of mind.
4. Date Night Saturday- I love the anticipation to something fun. My sweet husband (who is a closet "vampire/werewolf saga" fan, that's okay dear I'm a Redskins fan by marriage... you can be a Twilight fan by marriage) is taking me to see my movie yet again -- don't ask how many times I've seen it. Super excited about dinner and a movie date night!

*this next one is just random and (sadly) really exciting!
5. I got gas for $1.68, filled up the van for $25. Now it's been a while since it's been that cheap... that's awesome! (for all of you who are going to tell me gas is cheaper where you live, I know I know. Las Vegas does a tourist tax of about $.25 a gallon, too bad all the locals have to pay the tourist tax also. It's the price we pay to live in the city that never sleeps :) but we have no state tax so I can't complain)

I need tips on eating! LOL Like, what exactly are you eating to continue to shrienk! Are you even exercising? I've been back to the gym for just over a month and I think I'm getting bigger:( Also, you didn't seem to gain very much while pregnant? How is that? Do you just have freakishly awesome genes?! I should have sent this in a email but too late now! hahaha

Can I go on your date night with you too?! I've only seen the movie once! Please :) Matt is the best husband ever! I could never take Zac to a chick flick or anything remotely related to love b/c he will just make fun of it the whole time. Have a great night and think of me when you go!

SO cute that you guys are going to see Twilight again. At Cameron's work party the other night I accidentally told them that cameron went with me to twilight and the guys at his work will not let him live it down. I mean come on, how many dumb guy movies have we been forced to attend. I love that our husbands understand that we each have to give to make a marriage work. Thank you for thankful Thursdays, it is always so refreshing for me to think back about all the many things I have to be thankful for.

I am also grateful for cheap gas especially since we are driving to Las Vegas today! We will be there for only 5 days before we fly to Missouri so I will give you a call! By the way Ashley refuses to do the tag because she is not nice, but you are so I know you will do it!

Kids and Giggles... precious!

We spent this past Thursday evening at Grandpa and Grandma Boyd's home celebrating Little Addy's 1st Birthday. There were a ton of little ones running all through their home.

Aunt Julie and I got a big kick out of watching them all interact since it's been such long since we had any in our own humble abode.

All our children are blessings. We have been so fortunate to have had children. The love far out weighs the trials and tribulations each will go through as they grow into adulthood.

Love,
Aunt Julie and Uncle Tom
