Lovely Weather

The weather has been fabulous the past few weeks, about 75-80, no humidity.

You like that grass in that picture... it's fake grass... only in Las Vegas!!!

Our fun new toy blows bubbles, so Mommy and Daddy don't have too...

Kylie loved it, so did Maggie!

Daddy said sit... so they did :)

Kacey missed the fun outside, her and Winnie the Pooh needed a nap.

DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS!

The girls had their doctor appointments yesterday- Kacey's 6 month check up and Kylie's 3 yr. Kacey is 15 lbs, 12 oz and 26.5 in long. She is in the 50% for her weight and height, so if she was in a room with 100 other 6 month olds she'd be taller and heavier than 50, and she'd be shorter and lighter than 50... Kylie was 33 lbs and 38.5 in tall. She's in the 50% for her weight too, which I was shocked at because the girl is so skinny. She's also in the 90% for her height!

Kylie loves the doctor. She was so agreeable, standing on the scale, getting poked and prodded. I was so proud of my little girl! She's got a doctor toy set, which she plays with a lot so she was very familar with all his little tools. She took deep breaths and touched her toes, let him look in her eyes, ears, mouth. She was such a good girl, and the appointment was close to naptime. I thought for sure she'd be a crank! She was lucky too, she got to walk away without getting shots.

Poor Kacey, she got 3 shots... and it was bad. The first shot, she turned bright red... the following two came really quick... and it was one of those cries where she keeps it in and you know in a few seconds the scream is going to come out. It's so cute- her face gets bright red, she scrunches shut her eyes, little tears find their way out, and she SCREAMS! She's actually been struggling since then. When Kylie was little, shots didn't affect her at all. I can tell Kacey's legs are very sore, they hurt when she moves them and she lets out a piercing cry. Last night, Matthew tried everything to get her to stop crying... nothing would work. She's got a low grade temperature, she barely slept all night. Poor little thing. Hopefully today will be better.
