Only in Las Vegas....

... will you hear, let's go for a picnic, it's only 90 out. So that's what we did...

Kacey with her ham and cheese sandwich, obviously very happy!
Kylie ate nothing, she knew we had soccer balls for after our picnic, and she just politely waited for us to finish eating so she could get to the fun stuff.
Community Apple...
the only thing Kylie cared to "waste" her time eating, only a bite though.
Okay, let's play... Kylie was surprisingly coordinated for a 4 year old (and that she has half my genes). She could run and kick the ball better than I could.

Kacey~ bless her sweet little heart, she liked moving the cones. Here she is with an apple.

Here she is with her drink, or maybe Kylie's drink... she enjoyed the picnic I packed and had something in her hand that she was eating the entire time :)

All done, I couldn't resist this photo.

Kylie was SO tired after all the running around, and she did this and started looking for flowers in the grass.

Memorial Day... a little late

This week has been all confusing, Matthew off Monday made my week fly by (although Wed nights when he's at class until 10 pm still makes for a long day) and since then I've never really known what day it is. But here are some pictures anyways...

Memorial Day was a gorgeous day, probably the nicest we've had so far (especially after last week... Mon/Tues in the 100's, and the latter portion of the week was a cold rain!) But this past Monday was beautiful!

Right as I was taking the picture, my parents were circling in the cul-de-sac so Kacey was on the move.

So Monday.... Matthew bbq-ed for us and my parents for lunch, yummy hot dogs and hamburgers. He does a really fabulous job! Even the dog appreciates it- she knows who the succor is!Then we relaxed a bit and went to a friend's house for another bbq (this time chicken) and fhe. I wish I had pictures of the kids playing, there was one point where Kylie and her little friends were UNDER the in-ground trampoline. :) Needless to say, the girls came home and slept so good that night!!!

Sunday Morning

Our usual Sunday morning photo shots... See, I don't ALWAYS dress them the same :)

Now, look at those curls... aren't they just adorable! Now if they would only migrate to the top of her head, we'd be good to go!!!

Yesterday was such a productive day. Might sound boring to some but it gives me such a good feeling to know all the wash is done, all the ironing is done, the floors (including the stupid 3 bathrooms upstairs) have all been vacuumed and mopped. That's just the beginning, air filters have been changed, bought more dog food, and half of the nursery is painted (we're doing white on the top, pink on the bottom with a border in the middle- the white needs a few coats because it was originally beige). Those are the highlights. Oh and taught my first lesson today as a Sunday School teacher, went well I think :)
