Daddy/Daughter Disneyland

Well, they're on their way home!!! Fun was had by all, although Matthew said the humidity made him feel like he was going to melt. The crowd was good. I felt he could have stopped to feed her more, instead of just a pretzel here and ice cream there... but they survived. That's probably just the difference between a mom and a dad. He does get an A++ for taking so many pictures for me... so to completely bore you, here are about a thousand pictures from their 2.5 day trip!

******

New hat, she only has about 7 disneyland hats here at home... Wall-E
Goofy
Posing, or just plain tired... probably a little of both
What a good dad, suffering through the Princess Show :) and it looks like he did a pretty straight line on her head for those pigtails... good job!

This is later on that day, after the pool and baths... however Matthew has changed clothes and Kylie hasn't. Apparently, there was an "issue" there. I only packed her 4 disney shirts to choose from, but she wanted to wear that one AGAIN.

NEW Sunglasses!
CA Adventure Minnie Mouse

On the train that night. Apparently there was an "issue" with the fireworks. He wanted to watch them, she didn't. She had her hands on her ears- I think she was tired. Every time we go, we've never seen the fireworks. I always say the girls are too tired and will be cranky, which I'm right... he's just never believed me until now. HEHE :) He did get to watch a bit of it and said it was the best fireworks show he's ever seen in his life.... but they did have to leave early.

I'm glad they went and had fun... I missed my Kylie terribly, but I'm glad I wasn't there in the heat and walking around. That and only having Kacey at home was a cake-walk, wow! Obviously, I didn't think that when I only had one child, I guess I'm progressing as a mother :)
***
AND, I think my sweet hubby realized how hard it is to be the "parent in charge" 24/7 and I think he realized how much I do (and that's only for ONE child, of which he had the easier one)... hehe :) nice bonus on top of being missed. But I'm so glad they had fun and made all these sweet memories!!!!

What a fantastic time! It's a memorable trip that both will remember forever... Cool!

My first thought was... They survived w/o mommy's loving care.

Children and daddies are so resilient. This trip definitely proves that.

Great pictures. We need to get to Disneyland someday. I remember our first visit to Disneyworld and seeing the castle... I got goosebumps and I was flooded with precious memories of Walt Disney and the 'Wonderful World of Disney' on black and white (later on full color) television from my youth. Walt Disney provided so much joy and relief for us all.

We had the privilege of living during his lifetime.

Thanks for taking the time to post all the pics... It made our day.

Love,
Aunt Julie and Uncle Tom

oh no fair! is your last name secretly Disney? Looks fun. i totally know what you mean about missing them. I can barely go to the grocery store without missing my babies.. i am weird that way. Sometimes I'd rather go to the store with all 5 of them than leave them home.

What a great daddy daughter bonding time. I know Marc would love to do one on one time at DL with the kids.
