Thankful Thursday

1. When Kacey says, "Mommy, I love you." Or "Mommy, you're so pretty." She says it with such heart. Not sure if it's the sweetness of her words or her angelic little voice, but I love it.
2. When Kadyn looks at me like I'm the only person in the whole wide world that she wanted to see.
3. When I yell for Kylie to come and help because I'm in the shower and Kadyn's falling to the side (soon to be off) of her little bouncy seat.... and Kylie saves the day!
4. I got the smell out of my carpet -my house is 80% tile downstairs... where does Kylie throw up??? The carpet. Smell's out, it was driving me crazy... however it still doesn't look right. I cleaned it so well that the carpet that wasn't stained now looks bad. Never ending.
5. I got a 30 ... (30% off Kohls that is!) Spring dresses for everyone... well not Daddio.

Monday Monday

The weather today was absolutely divine! Right now it's 73... Earlier, I sat out in jeans and a short sleeve shirt and let the girls play, it was lovely.

I love the speed of this camera.

Yes, that's a baby gate on the playground... that way I can be sure Kacey doesn't fall out. Knowing her, she would.

Moo Moos got a workout too! She slept the rest of the afternoon.

Seriously, this camera is up close and personal... I need to shape my eyebrows a little more.

I found them this way the other evening, title it: "a man and his dog." (not great quality, it was still on the "plant" feature... the prior user should have changed it back, new camera rule) Maggie's on my chair by the way, she wasn't moving.

Updates

A new week, new bug! Poor Kylie, she's got the stomach bug. Not pretty.

It's just knocked her flat on her back today. We laid on the couch together and watched way more SpongeBob than I'd care to admit. (I'm bound to get it next but all she wanted to do was cuddle, so what was I going to do?! Poor girl, but she's a trooper. We took a picture of her about 10 times this evening and this was the best we could get)

So far these little love bugs are doing fine... (knock on wood)

Matthew's Post is next about his new camera. Can you believe he didn't get a chance to check the blog all day to find out about it? He called me (nearly 6 hours after I posted it) on his way home from work... telling me how great his numbers are at work and how he deserved something extraordinary for his success. He had NO idea! Needless to say, he was shocked when he found out he was actually going to get something. (usually I tell him to go pick himself up a milkshake from McD on his way home)

I love all the features and haven't even begun to scratch the surface with things you can do with this camera!

I had to try one with the plant option...it brings out the color like HD.

it's a nikon d60 10.2 mp 2.5 lcd, 18-55 vr & 55-200 vr lens... came with a memory card too, which means all blah blah blah to me but i thought you'd be tickled. i'll leave it in the box for you to open it and play with it later :)

Sunday Afternoon Pictures

Missing a few in our picture, luckily Kadyn is not sick. It's me- a yucky head cold... even a temperature. My normal temperature is about 96- which is low I've just always been that way, so when I was getting readings of 102, I knew something was up.

I spent all day yesterday in bed... which was awesome. Matthew played Mommy, which included sole nighttime baby duty, again... awesome! I didn't realize how lousy I felt until that afternoon Matthew was giving the girls baths, and Kacey goes, "Oh no, I peed on the ground." And I still just couldn't move. I figured he could handle it or not handle it and the mess could just sit there, it wasn't worth me moving :)

I still feel quite bad today, luckily Kylie's got Yaya to take her to ballet... it's a 24 hour jammies day for the rest of us!

***Warning picture overload! :) So many pictures, so hard to choose. It makes up for my blogging absence for the last little bit. And we just realized there's a fingerprint on the lens of our camera so some pictures came out smudgy... small little finger, wonder who that could be???

The Playhouse Disney Show, my girls loved it! We never miss an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

Kacey loves Goofy, but even more so (if at all possible) she loves Goofy's son Max. (Yeah, I know... he has a son, no wife, but a son). Anyway, we've never seen him, but randomly out of the blue, for the first time, we saw him at CA Adventure. I've never seen Matthew run so fast as to stop Max as I herded the girls over.

Kylie was chosen to go on stage as an "apprentice" for one of the shows, Matthew all but threw her 50 feet in the air for the guy to pick her out of the crowd. Afterwards, she got a signed sketch of Mickey Mouse to take home... really cool!

Too bad this picture was taken BEFORE the purchase of the Cars hat (for Matthew)- sense sarcasm... that my goofball of a husband actually wore the rest of the day around the park.

Goofy's Kitchen, definitely Kacey's highlight. She LOVES Goofy!

Kacey scared at something, I don't remember what.

So, every 20 minutes or so they do a little show in the center of Goofy's kitchen where all the kids get to go and play and have fun to the music. So we were ready and waiting. Kylie went running, ready to be front and center.


Kacey followed after her big sister, then realized she was scared and began running back... but Minnie came around the corner just at the right time, held her hand and played just with her! Kacey was in heaven.

Hugs goodbye, Kacey even gave Minnie a kiss. As they walked away from eachother, I saw Minnie stroke Kacey's head of curls. I thought it was sweet, as I do it all the time.

Sunday Afternoon Pictures

Had to get a close up of Kylie's shoes. The night before, I was organizing the girls' shoes and rotating who could fit into what (this was after a MAJOR shoe shopping extravaganza so I felt like I needed to donate some old ones)... Anyway, amidst the organizing Kylie found these in her closet and loved them... needless to say, she insisted on wearing them the next day. She's got a shoe obsession. Not sure where that came from. Luckily they kinda matched their Sunday outfits.

Hilarious, Happy V-Day to the girls from Papa. They opened the heart shaped box of candy and totally dug in within seconds!
