A House Full of Boyds

Matthew's family is visiting so we spend the day at Circus Circus' AdventureDome. Kylie had the best time riding all the rides! She's gonna sleep good tonight (yeah!!!). Kylie's a Daddy's girl for sure!
We actually bought the video of this ride. There's a small camera on each train taping the whole ride experience! She was smiling, screaming, and loving every minute of it.
This was Kylie's favorite ride, the Frog Hopper. She went on this thing about 8 times, in a row (and it was after lunch). I don't know how she did it.
Kylie loves Uncle Aaron (who's still single... we're taking applications, must be approved by the sister-in-laws first!)
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Bumper cars was a big hit!Kacey was so good, just watching everything and enjoying the scenary.
Kylie loves her Uncle Bryan too. Although, she was a little scared of the Sponge Bob.

Pucker Up Uncle Bryan! Here's a big Kacey kiss.

The girls with Grandpa, or how Kylie says it, "Grammmpa."

This was on Halloween. Kylie got to wear her Minnie Mouse costume to Preschool, then REFUSED to take it off the rest of the day!

Houston, We Have A Problem

My parents bought Kylie a Halloween balloon, and after playing with it all afternoon she somehow managed to get the weight off the bottom of the string.... and up up up and away. It's in the corner of my foyer. Kylie keeps saying, "Daddy will get it, Daddy will get a ladder." - Daddy's in Reno on business. I'm hoping it eventually falls. This is her attempting to jump and get it. Then she tried lifting her sister to reach it. ************************************************
This was from the other night... they're on playhousedisney.com. As you can see, Kylie's holding back Kacey's hands so Kacey doesn't mess up the game.
This is called, everyone is cranky and ready for bed but it's still too early to put them to bed so what can we do to keep everyone happy...(otherwise if we put them to bed, they'd be up at 4 o'clock in the morning). This is our attempt of minimizing the crankiness, and maximizing my sleep for an optimal amount of sanity. (see the Economics is still somewhere in the back of my brain, i haven't lost it!)

Trick Your Trunk!

***Warning ahead of time... LOTS of pictures! I just couldn't choose.***
Our ward's twist on the annual trunk-or-treat... here are our 2 Minnie Mouses (that sounds better to me than mice). Anyway, not planned to make them both be the same thing. It's just Kylie loves Minnie Mouse so she wanted to be it again, and it was just easier for Kacey to wear Kylie's old one... that and Kylie got a kick out of there being 2 Minnie Mouses. Look at those blue eyes!

She looks sweet and innocent... but WE know differently!
I love that one...

Kacey doesn't seem to nervous that Kylie could drop her... we are though :)

The Boyd GIRLS!
(I love it, it used to be years and years of the Boyd BOYS, because of my husband and all his brothers... but add in some wives, and everyone having baby girls and the women have officially taken over!)

This was from a few days ago...

My cousin's husband, Frank, came out for a business trip... so we all (us, frank, and my folks) went out to lunch! It's kinda hard to see because it was such a lovely sunny day, we had a great time. Lisa~next time come with and bring the boys!!! :) .... and yes, that is my dad in shorts! He went 56 years never, ever wearing shorts and NOW we have finally broken him down!

Family Home Evening

Our yearly trip to the pumpkin patch.
I just couldn't crop Kylie out of that one... she is such a dare devil!
I love that, with Kylie's hair sticking straight up.
My sweet little angel, just amusing herself with some hay.
One Last Picture. Kacey's still fascinating with the hay- gotta love her.
By this time, everyone was worn out (moody.. as it occasionally happens in a house full of females) and ready to go... but we had a nice time! (and Kylie cried the whole ride home because she didn't want to leave)

Fire Station Field Trip

Kylie's Preschool went to the Fire Station today. The kids were absolutely fascinated!

Kylie in the ambulence. As soon as she walked in, she goes... "this is cool!" I didn't even know she knew that saying.

Kylie getting off the ambulence.
Kylie in the fire truck.
Group Picture!

The ride home... hehe

That evening... We decided to get Kylie's hair cut. I love it!

She says that it's like Mommy's hair, because mine is about that length. She's a cutie.

Daddy's New Car

Fun for Daddy!

Since we've been married, he's been driving the Accord I had in high school. We sold my old '98 Accord :( ...to a really sweet girl who's just starting college... so we needed to get Matthew a new "ride"... And here it is, 2008 Honda Accord. I told Matthew, he better love it (which he does), because it's gonna be his for the next 10 years... I've got babies I've gotta put through college.

Sunday Morning...

I think it should be the other way around, but Kacey just loves to push Kylie on it. Maybe she doesn't trust Kylie to push (I don't think I would either!)

It is so funny, when Matthew's home with us before church I always feel rushed.
But when he's at meetings Sunday morning, I always have plenty of time with the girls in the morning for breakfast and taking pictures... and I'm doing everything!
He must interrupt our "flow." :)

Flashback Friday

Halloween 2004: The Flintstones and the Rubbles We went to a huge Halloween party when we lived up in Herriman, Utah with The Williams. We miss you guys so much!
This night, Matthew won "cutest costume" and he was so proud of himself. I was too, but that was because I made his and my costumes... actually hats off to Julie (Betty) she totally coached me through it.
Matthew would also like everyone to know that we strapped pillows around his waist under the costume, he really wasn't this fat. :)

Bamm-Bamm and Pebbles.

This is Jaxon, how cute is he! He was just the hit of the party that night... so sticking cute!

Kylie was so sick, as you can see around her eyes and nose. Her nose was running constantly, she was doped up on meds. It was rough, her first real cold. Here she's 6 months old... see look my babies are bald! It was all I could do too get that little white thing in her hair like Pebbles.

You just know they're thinking, "HUH?"

Something I learned about myself today...

First off, Kylie got to pick out of the treasure box today at Preschool... because she earned 5 pennies for being good. She was so excited, she came running out the door with candy in hand, just so proud of herself!

Okay, something I learned about myself today... is if you play Christmas music while I'm shopping, I'm going to spend at least twice as much! I was at Kohls today (while Kylie was in Preschool). And the little girl's section is right by the cards and Christmas music was playing and the trees were up and decorated... and everyone knows I LOVE CHRISTMAS (the music starts in my house as of Nov 1st, and my trees are up shortly thereafter)... so yup... I bought the girls color coordinating outfits and just had a blast singing along with the Christmas classics, as I kept adding more and more into my cart.

~~~dear, that's your heads up that the Kohl's bill is through the roof this month... loves! :)
Apple Picking
We spent the morning apple picking at Gilcrease Orchard... we had a great time, the weather was gorgeous! The girls had so much fun, they both came home and fell asleep...
we need to do this more often :)
Notice how we all match, I'm crazy... but I love doing that!
A Big Girl's Bike
Kylie got a new Princesses Bike this weekend... BIG HIT! She got a matching helmet and pads... that she won't take off even when she goes in the house. She doesn't quite understand that she has to continually pedal, she does it for a bit and stops thinking the bike will keep going.
That's Maggie putting her curious little nose into everything. Maggie wanted Kylie's knee pad.
And, we couldn't leave out Baby Kacey... I'm not sure what she's reaching out too. I think Maggie was over there.
(How crazy windy was it Saturday??? Wow!)
Flashback Friday
Since we're planning another trip to Disneyland before Thanksgiving, I thought I'd post a few pictures from our trip back in March of 2006. The heated pool, which was still freezing :) Matthew was crazy and going off the waterslides. Not to toot my own horn, but I was so sick (and pregnant with Kacey) and I don't look too terribly "green" in this picture.
It hadn't rained in 9 months in Anaheim, and it rained while we were there. It was so cold, but we had the best time!!!
Kylie is getting so excited for the trip. She keeps telling me that her and Daddy are going to ride"The Dumbo," which is her favorite. Since she's really tall, Matthew gets her on practically every ride, including the Matterhorn which freaks me out.
